This is not a CV
For a while I had a portfolio draft open: work history, a skills table, the usual. It looked fine and said nothing about me. So I threw it out.
This site is the opposite: a place to write. Mostly about infrastructure, the stuff I do all day. Kubernetes, Terraform, pipelines, and the slow craft of making a cloud bill smaller. Sometimes about games, because I take ranked far more seriously than I should.
How it's built
I wanted it boring, in the good sense.
- Posts are Markdown files in a git repo.
- A small Node script turns them into static HTML. One dependency.
- Vercel builds on every push and serves the result from its edge.
No framework, no CMS, no tracking. If it breaks, I can read every line that could have caused it.
What's next
I want to write the posts I wish I'd found when I was stuck: what actually moved our AWS bill, what I'd change in a Prometheus setup after running it across 30 microservices, things like that. Short, specific, with the mistakes left in.
